Şafak Akdaş, who holds a Master’s degree in Financial Econometrics, began his professional career at Garanti Bank and subsequently held various positions at different levels within the capital markets sector. In 2019, Mr. Akdaş joined Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. as an Executive responsible for the Derivatives and Domestic Sales Departments. He later served as Head of Sales and Asset Management, followed by his role as Director of Branches. As of 2022, Mr. Akdaş has been serving as Deputy General Manager responsible for Branches, Sales, Investment Advisory, Markets, and Operations. Since June 11, 2025, he has continued his career at Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. as General Manager and Member of the Board of Directors. Mr. Akdaş also serves as a Member of the Disciplinary Committee at Borsa İstanbul A.Ş. and as a Member of the Board of Directors at Yıldız Tekno Girişim Sermayesi Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. He holds all professional capital markets licenses in Türkiye equivalent to the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He is fluent in English, married, and a father of one child.
DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
Ali Mutlu was born in Osmaniye in 1968. He received his undergraduate education at Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Economics, and his graduate education at Oklahoma State University, Department of Economics. Since 1998, he worked in various positions in the field of information technologies in the capital market industry. Starting in 2015 as the Information Technologies Director at Halk Invest, Ali Mutlu currently serves as the Deputy General Manager responsible for Financial Management, Human Resources and Corporate Communications, and Information Technologies.
ACTING DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
He completed his undergraduate education at Istanbul University, Department of Economics (English). Mr. Gezen, who has held positions at various levels in brokerage firms since 2003, started working at Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. in 2016 as Domestic Sales Manager. Mr. Gezen, who has held different managerial positions within the company, has been continuing his duty as Acting Deputy General Manager responsible for Corporate Finance and Treasury as of 01.02.2026.
ACTING DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER
He was born in Istanbul in 1975. He completed his undergraduate education at the Department of International Relations at Istanbul University. Mr. Gürbüz, who started his career in 1999, has held various positions at brokerage firms since 2004. In 2014, he joined Halk Yatırım Menkul Değerler A.Ş. as Director at the Göztepe Branch. As of February 1, 2026, he continues to serve as Acting Deputy General Manager responsible for Markets and Branches.
